A graduate of Brimmer and May School in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, Meredith Balboni received varsity letters in both soccer and tennis. She worked during the summer as a junior camp counselor for The Rivers Summer Day Camp and taught sports, arts and crafts, and dramatic arts to children between 4 and 5 years of age. Before graduating from Brimmer and May School, Meredith Balboni traveled on a senior year educational bus tour through France and Spain, with stops at such sites as the Château de Chenonceau and the Pamplona Cathedral.
Among her further travels, Ms. Balboni has visited many notable destinations in Washington, DC, including the Library of Congress, the National Museum of Natural History, and Arlington National Cemetery. She has also vacationed in the Caribbean islands, including trips to Anguilla in the British Lesser Antilles and St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Involved in various philanthropic activities, Ms. Balboni has contributed to the fight against breast cancer as a participant in A Walk for Breast Cancer. She has also taken part in Projects Bread’s annual Walk for Hunger, which raises funds to provide sustainable access to nutritious food for Massachusetts residents facing hunger. At The Greater Boston Food Bank, Meredith Balboni has given her time to assist the New England region’s largest hunger-relief organization.
